How to persuade your parents to allow a new hairstyle?

Hi I am a 14 yr. old teen. I have short hair and have always been having short hair. But now I want to grow my hair long to make it look better. So I want to find out a way to let my parents allow me to keep the hairstyle I want. So what can I do in order t do that?

just do it they cant do nothing about it. just like getting a tattoo or a piercing they cant do much if the damage is already done lol

y would they say anything if you decide 2 grow it longer?isnt that up to u?just tel’em you wanna try sumtin new and so u’re gonna grow it long.

Just do it. If they complain that your hair is too long, tell them you can cut it any time you like and that you’re just “trying it out,” until they warm up to it and hopefully, they’ll eventually forget you ever asked.

My son wants long hair. Thankfully, he’s five and he frequently gets paint and glue in it, which is why I don’t want him to have it in the first place. Its always fun to cut it out.
