Is there a way to get my mom to give me more allowance?

Hi, I need money and I asked my mom if I could have a allowance but when I asked her she said like what would you do? so I already clean the house so I said that and she said okay so I said how much money would I get and she said 1 dollar!! a week!!! I was like..what??? so is there anyway to get her to bump up her price??

she may not be in a finacial postion to offer you an allowence things are very tight but you can renegotiate with her and try and get her up the next thing you can do is get a paper round or do chores for the neighbours like getting granny jones shopping for her for $2.50 or cutting mr smiths grass for $5.00

If you are old enough you can get a job. We only get things by working hard and earning them. I lived off allowance and it really sucked, many times I would not get money they did not have. If you are at least ten you can look for yard work around the neigborhood. Maybe someone will pay you to mow their lawn or something. Ask people in your neighborhood if they need any help. It sucks being a kid I know. I once was one. It sucks when you can not have the toy you want becuase you are not old enough to really work. Just be patient. Someday you will have your own money.
