What is the main goal of Osama Bin Laden's movements?

T-e-r-r-o-r, revenge, havoc, mayhem, destruction, death, etc. The list goes on. In his mind, he probably thinks he’s doing the right thing, though. He’s been hiding away for years and has remained unfound by the US government, or anyone for that matter. He has planned several major t-e-r-r-o-r-i-s-t attacks and is the founder of one of the most well-known and successful extremist groups of our time. This guy isn’t stupid, not in the least. My own opinion is that he will probably never be found. Personally, I believe that the US has many more t-e-r-r-o-r-i-s-t attacks in their future, and perhaps not just from/because Osama Bin Laden.

answer is simple. he is a radical Muslim. and their aim is to spread their influence and laws across the world, although they remain blind-sided as to the laws are so back-dated and inhumane, eg sharia law, just look @ iran and u’ll know how screwed these laws are, and because most of the general public do not accept these laws in the modern day, osama and his crew got only one way to spread it. te-rrorism

Osama Bin Laden’s original beef with the US was our military bases in Saudi Arabia. The two holiest cities in Islam: Mecca and Medina are both located in Saudi Arabia and Bin Ladan considers US military presence there to be an outrage against Islam.

I’d say his main goal is to best impersonate Emmanuel Goldstein a la 1984. That is to be the phantom menace… elusive enough to ensure a never ending American presence in the Middle East and Central Asia turning over every stone in pursuit of him… or poppies and oil… but never failing to pop his head up and issue a new fatwa for the American people to carry out against their own best interests in vhs format whenever public belief in Patriot Act era America begins to wane.

Perhaps the meeting with Al-Awlaki was to groom him to replace the ailing Bin Laden. According to Le Figaro, a French daily newspaper, In July 2001, Osama Bin Laden had surgery at an American hospital in Dubai and then met with someone recognized as a CIA agent during his recovery there.

I feel that there are enough links between American intelligence and Osama Bin Laden to suspect an ulterior goal of Bin Laden. If he was truly angry with America and wished to strike a blow to our infrastructure… why admit to it on video? Why admit to it subsequently on video? How can one be so naive and careless to confer blame on oneself, but savvy enough to avoid capture for a decade? If he was suffering renal failure… he is long since dead. Once Anwar Al-Awlaki has taken up Bin Laden’s banner and manages to draw enough attention to himself by the American people… I think the establisment media will “discover” proof of Bin Laden’s death and quickly work to obfuscate any discrepancy with the timeline of the release of his messages.
