How long do braces hurt or make you sore?

you should take motrin it works when i got my braces on i took motrin right after i got them on it worked all day and usually the pain doesn’t go away for about a week so keep taking mortrin so you can eat cuz i had to leave skool so i can eat cuz i was starving and forgot to take a mortrin that morning lol so good luck:)

bonjela its good for mouth ulcers and teething but it works really well on braces me and my freinds all use it after we have had our braces tightened

yah about three to five days after you get them on, then three to four days when you get them tightened

3 days on average but the first time their tightened can go up to a week

well when i got braces, it didnt really hurt. its more of an ache kinda…like, when your clenching your jaw, its that same feeling in your teeth. and for me it lasted barely a week
