how can I stop braces from hurting?

I had braces put in a week ago and they proper hurt I am sick of useing wax, makes me not want to smile at all then agen, dont want to smile with braces anyway but the point is im just waisting my time putting in and takin off my wax I no it helps to stop the braces from cutting my lips but isnt they another way. they look so much better with the wax on. the nubing cream might help but it swells up my lips and still cuts them even thou I dont feel a thing, is they any other way without wax??

use ice :) so eat ice cream /popsicles

dont worry tho the pain will go away in 2 weeks:)

Everytime you have your braces Tightened I am afraid they will hurt, you should try not putting the wax on because then you teeth will be able to get used to it it will be fine :)x

My son is using a brand new product we got from the orthodontist. It works 10 times better than wax. It’s called Comfortbrace. I am not sure if it is on the market yet but I did find some info at [link removed]
