Do you think my lip ring is infected?

I just got my lip done on 3 days ago. it has a white line on the inside under the ring. on the outside it has a scab almost to the ring. it hurts to move it, it stings when I do the sea salt and water. do you think it is infected? or what should I do?

swab it with alcohol “do not get in mouth or swallow” you need to break that scab away from skin and ring. Do this several times a day. Yes, it will burn but it will keep any infection away. Don’t think you have infection yet, but it could be on the way. Remember you need to turn that ring at least three times a day to keep a scab from forming. You want it to heal from the inside out. You will also notice some “crustys” along the way, wipe those away with alcohol swab as well. If you notice a colored discharge, then get to the doc right away. Don’t take the ring out it is possible to get rid of infection and still keep the ring. Do not use peroxide, it breaks the skin down if not rinsed off.
