How do I know if its infected or not (lip ring)
Heyyy… I just got snake bites and one of them is really bruised on the inside all around the back of the barbel. And is swollem prettty bad. I was wondering if its infected or what? Should I take it out or just wait it out.
well it is normal for it to swell cause mine swelled prettty bad because it is reacting to the piece of metal in your lip! just give it some time and if its still like that then go get it checked out!
No, I dont think it is ! but ya neva no, my bellybuton got infected and in leaked puss.. so I dont think yours is, but just incase you could go to the piercing shop and they should have a healing cream , it fastens the healing process !..

Dont take it out,especially if you just recently got it down. It may sitll be healing,but it may be infected. Often times when peircings are infected,they leak puss and they turn white around the sides. For lip rings,Id swish warm salt water in my mouth,or try something like peroxcide to clean it out.
If it doesnt improve in a week,call the peircer and let them know whats going on.
its onlyu normal for the swelling to be there for about 3 days after you get it done after that, it should have went down if it hasnt and its still swelled up and sore go back to the peircer dont take it out yourself if you need to take it out the peircer will do that your body could also be rejecting it and dont clean it with salt water or especially peroxide use 1 tablespoon of sea salt in a cup of warm water put your lip in there for 15 mins
