ouch! When did you first hurt it? try elevating your leg and icing it for the moment, and see if a bruise begins to appear. Rub on some muscle ointment as well after, if the pain persists and you find out it’s not a muscle strain/pull then I’d go see your doctor and get an x-ray on that knee cap!

i wanna say i hurt it like 2 weeks ago n i have been icing it but it feels the same. and i havent seen a brise not once

surgery! SCARY but if someone presses on it, it hurts to even bend it. sometimes when i dive i feel like i cant get up or walk

You probably slammed your knee cap into the joint behind your knee cap and caused water on the knee which doesn’t go away for a month or so that is what all the highschool volley ball players come to the ER with. If that is the case they will put you in a knee brace and crutchs and probably make you get some physical therapy after but no one will know for sure unless you get an xray. If you had water on the knee when you hit it again it probably got extremely irritated. Ice it until you can get an xray asap.

i keep telling my mom i have pain n she just tells me to stop diving on it n just has me put ice on it
