Is it true fevers can help fight infections?

Is it true feevers can help fight infections? The reason is, I was real sick with a feever last night, along with that, I was burning up all over the place. I took a couple of Asfrin last night since that lowered the feever. I couldn’t sleep and, it started getting worse when it came to being warm all over my body. Could that cause anything when you’re body is warm along with a feever? I don’t feel as sick as I was last night. But, I do have a runny nose. Could that be my ssinosses? forgive my spelling. Let me know what you all think.

There are indeed studies that show that when a body is feverish, it can aid the body’s defense against invading pathogens, either by creating an environment that is too warm to sustain the invaders or by speeding up the body’s natural immunological processes. However, there is some debate as to whether these are merely unintended side effects or not.
