My favorite home remedies?

Cranberry juice, and Activia Yogurt. The yogurt is made with live cultures that target he yeast and make your infection go away.

Lex is right though,Diflucan is where it’s at in the medicine.

Canesten is a creme available in loads of countries I’ve travelled to, over the counter a the pharmacy. Flossheal is right on- loads of home remedies help, but they don’t cure it.

However, if you go to a doctor, they can prescribe Diflucan, a pill you take just one of, and it’s gone the next day- no joke, it’s good stuff.

You can buy the remedy from a pharmacist in the UK, so I guess you can in the US too. Home remedies can be a help but don’t usually clear the infection completely, in my experience. Eating or even smearing on natural youghurt (with the ‘friendly bacteria’) can help but doesn’t really cure it. Also, washing a lot does not cure it, it makes it worse because it kills the friendly bacteria which would fight the infection. Have showers, not hot baths, while the infection lasts. Wear cotton panties and avoid pantyhose and tight trousers. But I still think you should go to a pharmacist, because they have the stuff that will really clear the infection!
