.. i said hes 6 months for the others hes considered 7 months?
If they count October as well, even though the baby has not actually been born for the whole of October, he would by that reckoning be one month old on the day he was born as well, and two months old on 1 November, even though he was less than 4 weeks old, and all months are at least 4 weeks long. I would agree with you, and say that the baby is only 6 months old, and is not 7 months old until 5 May. Using their method of counting months, he would be 12 months old in March next year, but 12 months is one year, so the baby would by their reckoning be one year old before his first birthday. Incidentally, the Koreans (at least some of them) count any days alive in one year, being one year of age, so they would say a baby born on 31 Dec 2010 would be two years old the next day 1 Jan 2011. How about that a two year old child that is only two days old?
i know ..but it bugs me cause they count october as well like..10..11..12.1..2..3..4.. i told them not to count october they go why do u want to skip a month how do i explain it to them?

Well i guess he's right in the middle of 6 and 7 months...I would still call it 6 months unless it was a week before he turned 7 months then thats when i would say it.
Technically, he's 6 months and 19 days old. I don't know that it matters, but I would probably refer to him as 6 months.
6 Months and 19 Days, basicaly 6 and a half months
i learn something new everyday..
