I am on track too, and the night before a meet I just eat a lot of pasta and meat and I run at least a mile

Answer #2

im a natural trackstar. I been running since I was in 5th grade so waht I usualli do is just treat it like a normal day dont do anything you wouldnt normally do and when you get ta practice make sure you stretch really gud and know your limit. if you have to drink something during practice dont swallow it just wet your throat and spit it out otherwise your body will be trying to digest it while you running and your body will give out and thas not a good feeling. but waht I wanna know is have you even ran before?

Answer #3

I doubt your body will throw up water, so take some of that in the mornings. Keeping yourself well hydrated is important for running, stretching before you run is also very helpful. Eat a banana or two before the race starts to avoid getting a muscle cramp.

Sorry that water statement sounds a bit weird lol. But try to take water you need it, your muscles have dependency on water as well as your body.

Alright my dad is a bicyclist and the day before a competition he eats pasta the night before. Pasta contains a lot of energy enough to last through tomorrow. That way he doesnt eat in the morning (pasta is a starch, thats why it lasts, it doesnt digest quick)

Answer #5

Get sleep so you can have energy and stretch
