I dont no what I do wrong, I eat heathy, I weigh 136 pounds, im 14, I am 5’4, and I run a whole mile every day!!! Are there any tricks that you guys no??? Thank you very much!!!

Just running a mile every day is not a training routine.

Your routine should be based on your events and your level of conditioning now.

In general you need to do longer runs to develop aerobic conditioning, intervals to develop anaerobic conditioning and recovery, sprints to develop snap and speed, and some strength resistance training to balance out your development.

Being conditioned will not always win races. Sometimes strategy will allow a competitor to prevail over better trained athletes. There is also the mater of how badly you want to win. Often races are won by the running willing to dig deeper and push themselves farther beyond their comfort zone than everyone else.

well the main thing you need to do is work on the running tech and lift weights I ran the 100 meter dash in 11.04 seconds Stacks.tv is a good website that has a lot of tips check it out go to the track section you need to do lactic aside workouts at lest 2 times a week I do it on mondays and wensdays if I dont have meets on the weekends I also do it on friday. I sometimes do 4 200s doin aceleration. you can also do 400s and latters latters are 400 300 200 100 then do 2 more you can also try strights and turns yo can sprint the strights and eather walk or jog the 100 meter turn or stright then do it again about 4 times do it as conditioning about 30 second rest inbetween do the agility drill bumpin across aline side to side as fast as you can 4 about 20 to 30 seconds do about 2 sets of there once you see an imporvement in your agility dill going faster you can also see the improvement on the track do quick kicks too and high knees as fast as you can it will help you with the cycle when you run work on the tec as your coach if he can show you the proper form for sprinting GOOD LUCK hope I helped enuff

Answer #3

If your 5’4” and wgh 136 and run track, something is not right. Try changing your diet, less fats, more carbs and protein. Run hills and short sprints to improve your mile runs. If you run a mie everyday, after 2-3 days your body is not working anymore, you must change your routine.

Answer #9

alright well if you want to actually get faster, ride a mountain bike or go to the gym and ride the bike there. riding is how I became fast. also not everyone is physically built to be fast, some of us are built to run long distances while others can run short distances(which are the fast people) and some people cant run to save their life.
