How do I relax?

ok so for the past month, i’ve been feeling nervous and scared for no reason at all. and i’ve noticed that i havent been eating as much, and im never able to sleep. i’ve been snapping at my family alot, and they just call me a b*tch, which doesnt help. but a few months ago, i almost had an ulcer from too much stress, and i had REALLY bad stomach pain, and i just dont want that to happen again. is there anyway i can relax before i start getting really busy this year?? thanks

Lets see if we can get you a little bit more relaxed. Well first off different things work for different people, so it kind of depends. There are a variety of methods you can try, see which one or combination works for you the best.

  1. Try working out and then take a nice hot bath/shower.
  2. Take a nice hot bath/shower with music.
  3. When you get stressed real take deep breaths…inhale and exhale releasing the stress.
  4. Find a hobby you enjoy doing that helps to relax, for believe it or not it’s writing poetry, coloring, and sudoku…haha no laughing only I can do that :).
  5. Give yourself some chill time and enjoy doing things you like to do without stressing.
  6. Listen to music - believe it or not it really helps.
          *In addition to regular music you can listen to soundscape:: Waterfalls, Rain,    Birds. Also I have a relaxation CD that will completely relax you. If you want a copy of it just hit me up through my fun mail. I swear by that and working out.

If not you might want to go see a Dr. just to make sure everything is okay. Feel better.

I would suggest taking a bubble bath (don’t fall asleep though!) Light some candles…play some soft music. Look up some jokes…watch something funny. Write in a journal. Talk to a friend. Take a walk. If non of these help then I suggest you see your Doctor. You might have an anxiety problem. That’s probably why you are getting those stomach aches.

Music by far is one the of the main things that calms people down really easily. Also have you ever tried meditating. I mean it probably won’t do much but if you could just concentrate and relax for a bit, close your eyes and just listen to the natural world around you, you could feel untense. Your just probably going through pressure or something that you don’t like much. Try ignoring alot of things in the world and concentrate mostly on yourself. Find something to calm yourself down. If you get to stressed out, you could end up getting even more ill then you are now. Read, go for a walk, write some sort of poetry, or talk to a close friend. But mostly music helps alot of people out. You will find you reliever.
