What are some good ways to cure a cold without going to a doctors?

You can’t cure a cold, you can only ease the symptoms.

I take Tylenol Cold, whenever I get a cold. It helps me.

Zinc supplements may stop the virus multiplying. 1 tip here is that a good multivitamin usually contains more zinc than a zinc supplement, and may well be cheaper.

Angel’s right…cant cure a cold…only symptoms..

1. just keep up with the vitamin c…
2. drink plenty of hot tea with honey..
3. try some hot chicken soup (or broth)
4. Advil will help ease minor cold symptoms but if you have a congestion then you will need something stronger like Day/NyQuil

If your symptoms get worse after 4-5 days…see a doctor. might have more then just a cold…can be something like a viral bacteria which might need antib’s to help fight it off!.

You do not need to go to the doctor for a cold or flu, unless you develop a bacterial infection. The doctor cannot give you anything to kill the virus. You just need to get some rest, drink heaps of water, up your vitamin c and treat the symptoms with paracetamol and maybe an anti-congestant. Something with pseudoediprine can make you feel a lot better as well. It also really good to take some liquid echinacea. Has to be liquid, it doesnt work as well in other forms such as in tea.

Just let it go away on its own.

4. Other herbal supplements can help boast your immune system, such as blue-green alga & echinacea goldenseal complex.

Things like Tylonl Cold or Day/NyQui don’t really do anything to help you get over your cold or flu, they only offer temporarily relief by masking the symptoms.

I use echinacea goldenseal complex in a capsule form because I cannot stand the liquid form….ugh so vile.

you can’t cure a cold. You can just reduce symptoms by taking stuff. Sudafed is good at getting your nose cleared.
