Is drinking lots of water in a short period of time the same as drinking that same amount of water in a long period of time?

Sorry for the odd wording on the question but what i am trying to come across with is basically i dont drink a lot of water throughout the day but at night i drink gallons. In past hour iv drunk 2 litres. It makes me a lot and i know this ins’t great.. Also will doing this make me lose any weight or will it pass straight through me? What are the benfits of this?

It’s passing straight through you. You need to drink about average sized bottles of water a day to stay hydrated. And its best to do it slowly, over the course of the day. Also, avoid drinking too much water before bed. It will save you the pains of getting up early to go to the bathroom. And I’ve been doing the two bottles of water a day thing for a while and i have lost weight. But remember, slowly through the course of the day. The benefits of drinking water include healthy skin and more energy for the day.

Drink too much water in a short amout of time is actually lethal but in your case I think you’re fine but it probably doesnt keep you as hidrated through out the day
