Hmm..I guess we can’t say they’re the ‘do nothing’ Congress.

This doesn’t suprise me for 2 reasons.

$170,000 isn’t that much money for DC. When adjusted for cost-of-living in our respective cities I make about as much as Senators do. My job isn’t nearly as important as theirs so I don’t see why they should make less than I do.

Who refuses a pay raise. If my boss offered me a raise if I wanted it I would be foolish to decline it.
