does green tea speed up your metabolism and what can I add to it as it has not a very nice taste something low cal preferably ? thankyou.
Green tea can increase your metabolism slightly. I, however, have not noticed a significant difference that would warrant putting up with the nasty taste of it. My weight loss seems to go smoother when I drink plain old water.
Some studies have shown a slight effect but don't expect miracles. Oolong tea seems to have a stronger effect than green tea though.
Personally I like green and white teas so I try to drink some every day.
I don't know , but if you drink 8-10 oz. of water it speeds it up
