if you think something enough you can begin to believe it?

do you believe that if you think something enough you can begin to believe it? like if you keep thinking having it 24/7, like winning the lottery, that you could begin to believe that you’ve won it? wow, this sounds confusing. hopefully someone understands the question.

hmm, could an obsession turn into a delusion? probably… like those people who start stalking stars believing they have a connection with them (obviously takes a mental disorder, but it is possible)

Sometimes when I hear something, I tend to believe in that particular thing. If I were to believe in other things whether it’d be religion, or winning the Jack Pot, then I’d surely believe in those things.

it can be real only to you but not in whats known as reality. However there is a thing called positive though. Like what emotastic4life said about that girl thats positive thinking. as far as spiritualy, no, things that you believe is just that. If they dont exist they dont. dont confuse this with no proof. many things that had no proof in the past are considered fact

It does sound confusing, but I will try me best to answer it. Lol. Ok hear it goes. Like when ever I want something to happen I keep thinking it will happen like it doesn’t always work. ;) Like I wanted to go out with this one girl and I kept thinking that we will go out one day and we did!! And when I wanted chocolate I was thiikning about it all day, and got it 2 days later. LOL
