Do you believe that we can choose or is it up to god?
Do you believe that you are able to choose the sex of your child or is it really up to god what you get?
I think science has just about figured that one out, so that people can manipulate the normal way that God created, and decide for themselves.
Maybe some good will come of this, possibly in third world countries where they view female babies as worthless. However, in the long run, I think, we should leave things the way that God designed them.
If you have sexual intercourse to have the baby I don’t see how anyone can choose the sex of their baby… I don’t believe in god but if I did, I would say god doesn’t have control over the sex of your baby either…it’s a 50/50 chance.
I’m going with option 3: The gender of a child is determined by whether the sperm that fertilizes the egg has an X chromosome or a why chromosome in it. No divine influence required, and certainly no conscious choice involved.
I’d say neither, because I do not believe that God even exists, and also the fact that yeah…you can’t pick the sex unless it were a test tube baby.
There is a third option… so I’m going with neither. You cant pick the sex of your child unless you have a test tube baby…
God is in the business of creation - He determines.
