do I say yes or no?

I’m 18 and moved out of the care home I had been living in for 12 years 3 months ago. my old social worker rung me up 2 weeks ago and told me thatmy real dad had got in touch and wanted to meet me. he was pushed out of the family when my mum got pregnant. my mum is now done a runner and cud be anywhere and my dad was living in horsforth leeds all his life. that is just 4 miles away from me! I can’t believe he was that close allt he time! do I tell my social worker yes or leave my life well alone and refuse?

Sey yes!, meet your dad tell him how you feel, express feelings with each other! ask questions just get to know each other better because you are a young adult now :) If it dont go well then just leave it! Some people dont hve dads alive, yours is so try and make use of the time you hae left with him :) xxx

I would say yes/ it sounds like he really wants to meet you. and its one of those thing that you are going to wonder about all you life/ if you dont.
