My parents are divorced, and believe me it is not a nice experience as a child going through it. A better alternative would be to persuade them to get help, maybe counselling, it could really help. It is out of order that your dad hits you and your brother, and that really needs to be sorted, it is illegal… it is child abuse. Tell a techer, or an adult you can trust about these problems, if your mum does not see your point of view. I understand that you are going through a lot… you are in a bad situation… and it really needs to be sorted out.

If you feel like you really need to talk to someone about it but you don’t know who, you could always call childline, just google childine to find out the number and visit their website.

Childline is anonymous and you do not need to give them any personal details if you do not want to.

Best of luck!

well first…does he hit you for no reason??? & theres nothen you can really do with the divorse thing.. thats up to them. & its kinna impossible for you to leave and live with ure (boyfriend). maybe another family member. you can talk to your mom…and let her knoe that I been bothering u.. try to get her to understand…if you are too afraid to address it to ure father.

Answer #3

If it is truly abuse, report - but make sure because a lot of lives could be turned upside down - if not, definitely best to stay and work things out - emancipation info: http://www.teenparents.org/emancipation.html

Take care !!

does your dad leave any type of bruises or marks on your body? if he does, that should b enough evidence all you need and you go straight to the cops and you show them but you might have to go to a hospital to get a medical report filed. they may also b able to do that right there at the police station as well.
