Divorcing your parents??

My mom and I have a lot of problems and it seems that our relationship gets worse by the day. I’ve heard you can “divorce” your parents. Is that true and if so how do you go about doing so. I’m only 15 and I live in Columbus Ohio

Emancipation, and no, it isnt for abused children, they take abused children and either try and put them with family, or put them in foster care… It is very very hard to get an emancipation, not only do you have to prove that you have a place to live, and a way to support yourself (like a job), you also have to have a really good reason why you should be emancipated, and why they shouldnt put you in foster care… You can call the department of family and children and talk to them, they may know how to get you in touch with a lawyer?

I wish me and my dad lastnite was going to fist fight and you just don’t go and fist fight your 14 baby girl and plus im a big girl too what if I kill or hert him duh!!!

Emancipation? but it’s for kids who are beaten or raped by their parents… not for people who have just had a falling out with their mum.
