what do you all think of this?? In California you can't say mom or dad in the public schools cause it's considered discrimination against people who don't have a mom and/or dad.
If it's true, it's very silly. But I did have cases, as a teacher, when a child's parent had recently abandoned the family (the first time, it was a mum). We had to be careful. You need to know the kids in your school and care about them, and not talk as though all 'normal' people have two parents etc. But to turn that sort of specific sensitivity into a law is meaningless and inappropriate.
flinch, Are you serious? Wow, I've never heard of that before. Thats such a dumb rule. Its like not being allowed to say 'money' because some people dont have it, lol. -ѕтәpн♥
What who ever made that law must seriously be stupid honestly what kind of person would do something like that it does not make any sense
What's your source? If it's "a friend told me", I'm highly skeptical. If it's something more solid, link please?
Please provide some evidence of this law. It's so stupid that I'd have to see proof in order to believe it.
