How should I decorate my puppy's headstone?

My puppy died and to do something nice for me, my dad made a headstone for him out of cement and a marble tile. It looks really nice, but the thing is, I can’t figure out how to decorate it. I wanted to put pictures of him on there, but how do I do that without them getting warped by the sun? And how should I write on it? With a marker, sticker letters, etc…? By the way, it’s 14in by 14in.

Well, I don’t know of anything other than flowers really…stickers, markers, pictures, etc…will just get destroyed by the weather. You can try those peel and stick letter they use for mailboxes and houses…they stay for a long time and are weather-proof. The only way I know of to put pictures there is if the pictures are made into the headstone, which is probably expensive to get done…

Also, there is weather-proof paint they use to decorate mailboxes and other outdoor things…
