okay so i know you may think im crazy but someone i know got a phone call from a person who died and the person phone was always on but suddenly the person who died phone number called a friend of mine and when the person was about to answer they didnt get there in time.
do you think that the dead was callling the living ?
just like my aunt she wrote a note telling us how she would die and everything we didnt know how the note ended up were it ended but i dont get any of this i really need to know can the dead still contact us i need to know please answer this
The spirits that are mentioned in the bible are demons or angels. they can communicate.(2 Corinthians 11:14-15), we are told how these demonsare able to appear or disguise themselves as“angels of light” and “servants of righteousness.” Because of this u can assume that a demon could appear to someone as the spirit of a deceased person–especially that of a loved one–if it helped the demon to carry out its evil doings. Hebrews 9:27 says we are to die once and after that face judgement. No in between. Mark 5:1-20 They came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gerasenes. 2 And when Jesus had stepped out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit. 3 He lived among the tombs. And no one could bind ... Demons possesed a man and used the man to haunt a grave yard. Demons only look to k!ll, and destroy and steal. They will do anything to decieve people and lead them away from God
The Bible tells us that when we die, we go to sleep...we sleep until resurrection. People who talk to the dead are fooled into thinking they are speaking to the dead but they are actually calling up spirits/demons who present themselves as people. There is an example of this in the Scriptures. 1Samuel28:7-21. Saul went to a woman to call on the sleeping Samuel. She did this and when the real Samuel (God woke the real Samuel), and not just a demon pretending to be Samuel she was shocked and afraid....because she knew she did not have the power to do so but God let it happen so that Saul can be punished for his disobedience.
I suppose your are referring to paranormal activity (not the film xD) and it depends how superstitious you are. I am very superstitious.
Some believe that everything is connected; every living thing, every dead thing, every object. That means these things can communicate with each other. Others think that a person's soul, their essence or spirit, leaves the body once dead. I accept both theories.
It is possible to my beliefs that you well could have been contacted. However, communication goes both ways and if you are interested in doing do I'd recommend researching into it and learning beforehand.
Chantygirl is wrong about what the Bible says. Scripture tells us that those who are in Heaven are actually more alive than we are. Jesus tells us that God, the god of Abraham and Isaac, is not the god of t he dead, but of the living. Therefore, if God is the god of the living, and Abraham and Isaac are no longer alive in this world, then they MUST be alive, spiritually.
It is definitely possible that those who have passed from this life can call those still in this world. How else could sightings of Mary and the other saints be explained?

Other entities (demons for example) may trick you, and have you believe that a dead loved one is contacting you, but, once you're dead, you're dead. I agree with you for the most part, but it is entirely possible for a medium to make "contact". However, if you also notice this practice is forbidden. Why? Because it works, but it is not our job. It is God's job. Samuel was brought up. There was no demon. However, he wasn't supposed to be brought up.
there are multiple possibilities how you could of received a call from that phone. Can the dead really contact the living? That's up to the person to decide if they believe in such things. Personally, I believe it is possible.
the bibke does say that about ghost. look it up on. what does the bible say about ghost? Just type that in and u will get the verses. But ur right not every religious person is christian.
The bible doesnt say that, I'd double check your research and not all religious people are Christian so two incorrect statements in kne answer, that's a record

If the dead know that you can help them then yes they can and will.
