How can I make it up to my dad?

– soo. I just found out that one of my friends died I didn’t know her too well but still, I also found out that my best friend is moving away later this year and one of my friends moved away today. I was upset but I didn’t really show it, but then I got home and was about to go swimming to get out of my dad’s way (it’s his birthday) but then my brother started yelling at me which topped it off so I started crying and shouting at my brother. My dad then started talking about how I ruined his birthday, and now I feel even worse. How can I make it up to him?

Answer #1

You need to appologize for getting so upset and taking out your bad day on others. Explain to him in a calm voice what is going on with you. What is happening to you explains why you overreacted but it doesn’t make it right. Luckily, when people love you they understand when you loose it.

I hope you are feeling better. Give it time.

Alright look, you were upset and you yelled at your brother. It wasnt the most pleasant way of dealing with the situation, but I feel it’s a little over the top to blame you for ruining his birthday. That’s more than a little harsh. You can apologize and try to stay calm for the rest of the day. Maybe do something nice for him. But if he chose to let one incident ruin his birthday, that’s not your fault. That’s his choice.

Dont go around and around To the Point Dad look what I said / did was wrong I’m Sorry

It takes abig person to admit there mistakes He’s your Dad just be honest

Answer #4

Apologize to him for blowing up…THEN tell him what all had transpired during the day. Dad’s forgive, and birthdays really do get less important as you get older…he’ll be fine.
