Just want to point out that it won’t protect you from infections. Many people (especially males) have things and don’t know it.

The prescriber should be able to answer your questions about the drug.

In all honesty I’m not a fan of chemical contraception.

I had a friend who took the shots and she developed ovarian cysts. It cancause weight gain and acne sometimes rather than helpingwith acne like some other forms of bc do. I’m 22, never used any hormonal bc-just condoms and have been sexually active for 5 years and I’m fine. I’drather not subject my body to all that.
