What do you think about amnesty or the "pathway to citizenship" for illegal immigrants???
"Besides blaming the U.S., for some kind of unfair trade policies,"
Unfortunately, NAFTA is largely to blame for the rise in illegal immigration from Mexico. If we're going to think about better economic conditions in Mexico, we shouldn't throw NAFTA out, but it's been neglected for years and it needs to be focused on again.
Sure, why not. Personally, I think it's almost criminal to deprive fellow human beings of the opportunity to survive, simply for political reasons. I tend to favor open borders for those who do not have criminal records, with limitations on the receipt of safety nets until they've contributed for a while.
I don't believe there should be one, I believe ILLEGAL is misinterpreted and people should apply for citizenship before planning on living in another country.
Of course there should be. There has to be some mechanism to allow these people to become legal. We can't export 12 million people.
