Can a 17 year old move out 2 weeks before turning 18 in Ohio?

Answer #1

Nope. You’re still legally not an adult. Two weeks isn’t long to wait, just wait the two weeks. Your only other option would be emancipation, which at two weeks, is pointless as the process and paperwork takes much longer.

Answer #2

enjoy your home the real world cost money lots and lots of money. don’t believe me look at your parents bills add them all up and minis it from what you make a month then add in several hundred or more for housing and a couple hundred for food and then a few more for gas, auto maintenance, insurance and see if you even have close to enough. and keep in mind that is just to live not to actually enjoy living

Answer #3

If your parents agree - yes.

Answer #4

legally no. but if your parents are cool with it, you should be ok :)

Answer #5

Technically, you can, but your parents can call the police and have you returned. If it’s fine with them, you’re free to go.
