why do i have a yellow green puss coming out my vagina which started one month afte i gave birth?

You need to call your obgyn asap, yellow green discharge is never normal, especially so soon after giving birth. Its a sign of an infection.

mandyloo is right. green is NEVER a normal colour to have in discharge. somthing is wrong so get it checked out

Did you have any tearing when you gave birth? if so, you probably got an infection from your stitches. When you left the hospital they probably gave you boring discharge instructions and all these little creams and sprays and maybe the bath thing…who wants to do all that?? If you’re like me, you didn’t. Fortunately, I had no problems, but I also had very little tearing and am very young. Its probably just the stitches. However, the fact that it started a month later is unsettling, especially if you didnt have stitches. It could just be a yeast infection, or if you’ve resumed having sex already, something having to do with that. i’m thinking if its only been a month you haven’t yet because your supposed to wait six weeks, but hey, i only gave it three. (they were just guidelines right?)

either way, you need to call your ob and set up an appointment, if you don’t already have your six week follow up coming soon.
