Would Moss Killer contribute to us having to put our rabbit to slee

Sadly, yesterday, we had to put our pet rabbit to sleep. It occurred to us that my husband had put Lawn Feed and Moss killer on our lawn at the weekend. After a considerable amount of rain we let our rabbit out on to the lawn. Would Lawn Feed and Moss Killer contribute to us having to put our pet rabbit to sleep?

Most certainly it could attribute to his demise…it’s poison.

The poison goes right into the roots of the plant, so yes… that is why you never put pesticides down where the rabbit will be grazing. Tip for the future.

Possibly…moss killer has chemicals in it that are potentially deadly to small animals
