Why is my so called dad a dckkk?

Ever since my grandma died, hes been horrible. He sucks at parenting. and totally blocked out anything that could be good. Like god, he says doesnt exist because my grandma was a good woman and he still “killed” her..WTF. All he does is b* and he’s a huge a to me. I’m sick of it. Parents need to take a class for correct parenting before they become a parent.

Thank you. She died in 2001.. So it’s not like it JUST happened. I think I’m in the right state of mind but it gets frustrating always having the negativity there when a parent is supposed to be your encouragement and backbone. And he isn’t.

hmm… it might take time for him to get used to it but in my opinion when he says gods not good or whatever he says just tell him people have to die eventually. if things dont get better talk to them about it… and meanwhile you wait for things to cool down, do things right for yourself like the things they cant do right. its okay god will help u!

Well, it sounds to me like he’s using his mom’s death as an excuse…a justification for his behavior. I don’t think his lack of, or his “style” of parenting is connected to his mother’s passing. (there’s a good chance he feels guilty about his mother’s death…like maybe there were things left unresolved)…

As for “correct parenting”…there isn’t ONE single way of going about raising children…the style in which you think it should be done now, will change a LOT by the time you have one of your own…and change as they grow…as YOU grow…

You’ve got a point tho, it would be nice if people took a class in general aspects of parenting before they had kids…not only would the children benefit, but so would the adults.
