What are those little white things at the very top of my fingernails?
Should i be scared?
Nails are made up of translucent keratin so the white on top is the part that has grown out and away from the nail bed. Therest of the nail is pink becuase it’s just showing the blood vessels under the nail, which gives it the pink color. If your talking about a white speck on your nail thats just a nail bruise and there is nothing to worry about, it will grow out.
