What are those white marks on my fingernails?

I get these small white marks on my fingernails sometimes… they dont hurt or anything but I don’t know what they are.

Dont fret my friend!!! It can mean you need a viti boost or it could be small calcium deposits… do you eat lots of dairy??? its really not that big a deal though is it??

It’s caused by the lack of vitamins or protein…just eat more of these and when you cut your nails and cut them not much more will grow

It can be caused by hitting your nail at some point, most likely didn’t notice it. Or it can be caused by a vitamin deficiancy.

I have those all the time and I hate them they are caused by a poor diet ecspecially zinc which just means you need to eat more foods that have zinc in them

But I take vitamins. My mom forces me too :P and I’ve been taking them since I was in like 4th grade. So I guess it’s from hitting them.

Yeah I do eat a lot of dairy. I’m a vegetarian so I HAVE to eat a lot of dairy to keep my protein up. :)
