When rwanda massacres happened the usa and the un did nothing but yet after ww2 german leaders were executed for the holocaust. When we dont do anything about genocides now does that make us seem to be saying hitler was ok?
Yes to the first question (it does make the US hypocritical, because they really only intervene when it concerns something they want, but they always pretend to be there because of the greater good) No to the second question. Not getting involved does not mean approving of an action... The US was attacked which is the only reason it got involved in World War II, there was no threat in the Rwandan genocide...
Bash the US if that makes you happy - there's never been a nation that does Greater Good in the History of the World - when did Russia step in to stop genocide ?? - the fact that the US has and does respond eliminates 'hypocrit' - people around the world know the truth so, Bash away ! - reminds me of a candidate running now who's only associations have a dim view of America, I don't !!
lol bash im just showing a ovious truth ignoring our failures just leads to the same mistake repeated. I mentioned ww2 because us and other nations ruled on the nuremburg trial genocide is against the law but yet we dont enforce that rulling when we can simply ignore it
Hypocrites? Maybe. It would depend on the circustance. Should we have tried to do something in rwanda obviously. Many mistakes were made.
And ty is right, WWII is not relevant to your question.
'does it affect the voter's decision?' there's the answer to your question. also, keep doing what's being done. don't get into anything new if it ain't going to get me profits
of course...its human nature we dont realize the pain because we are nowhere close ty is right btw
ah amblessed, dont you recognize a fellow right winger when you see one?
