when has guerilla warfare failed in the 20th century?
seems to me that every nation who ran guerilla warfare has succeeded in removing a foreign task force from their country. (italy WWI, invasion of russia WWII, korea, vietnam and now afghanistan) have there any been any miserable failors?

I’m not sure how often it succeeds vs fails, but from my own recollection during my lifetime, it has failed most of the time. The one spectacular success everyone remembers is Vietnam.
But what about all the guerrilla wars fought in central/south America in the 80’s? Almost all of them failed.
