you should look into companies that sell them DIRECTLY to the public, instead of going through a broker or Internet company...
That's a good way to get started...
etrade does a lot of ads for their service, so does td waterhouse...I'd probably start researching those two & then make a decision.
ebay and gumtree are also 2 good sites
