What kind of excuse is that?

I go to boarding school… my ex lives up here and im trying to get the school in his good books and I have been invited to a ball by him about a month ago when we were together… I have the dress and things and I was allowed to go but then me and him broke up and he said I wasnt going … so I told the school… then we were getting things sorted out and told the school I was going.. then we spoke again and I spoke to one of my teachers and told her the day that I was going to speak to him that we were going to sort things out.. the next day I told her he says no but I dont know yet… and she was like ok… then apparently I wasnt going… and my mum was on my side when I tried to get her to phone and say I was allowed to go but as soon as she spoke to my dorm mistress… she said I wasnt going and then like always goes on their side… and its his last ball at school because its his last year and he really really wants me to go and it means a lot to be there for him and the school are saying its our fault for messing up yet they know if we’re gonna see each other soon we argue about things or something goes wrong and they are just like well we didnt know that which they do because it had been happening for a year and two months and I dont know what im supposed to do because im the one with the pressure on me the whole time… all that is needed from the school and my mum is permission… and I have to get it like always fromthe school my mum and his parents… and I never get anything from it I just dont know what to do…

well why should the school decide if you go to his dance or not? I know that its a boarding school, but they cant keep you from doing anything with your personal life aside from school work, especially if your parents are allowing it! talk to your mom about it and have her call the school or something to let them know that your going and they cant stop you! if that doesnt work, well…I wouldnt recomend it but…when it comes down to plan z, sneaking out is your only option but seriously, dont even try it.
