What is the best Ab strengthning exersize?

im trying to get in shape for summer but cant find a good ab workout… im just doing situps..

  1. Get in push up position and stay there as long as you cn. your gunna feel the intense pain in your inner core. do this everyday and your gunna notice that you are able to stay in that position longer and longer. and your abs are gunna get tighter and tighter.
  2. Lay down on the floor, lift your legs up and cross them so that your body is a 90 degree angle, put your hand on your neck. and lift up your shoulders off the floor. dont do normal crunches, do have a crunch. do as many as you can and your abs will start forming.
  3. Lay on the floor and lift your legs up and try to for a 90 degree angle with your abs and thighs and also your back thighs with the back of your calfs. Now place your hands on your neck. move your feet as if your were riding a bike. when your left leg comes up to your stomach, cross your right elbow to your left knee/ when your right leg comes up towards your stomach, your left elbow should touch your knee. do this as long as you can.

Trust me, these things work… I work at a gym :]

Here Are Two effective abdominal exercises you should try Bicycle maneuver-Lie flat on the floor with your lower back pressed to the ground. With hands beside your head, bring your knees up to a 45-degree angle and slowly go through a bicycle pedal motion. Touch your left elbow to your right knee, then your right elbow to your left knee. Breathe evenly throughout the exercise, Or Reverse crunch. Lie flat on the floor with your lower back pressed to the ground. Put your hands beside your head or extend them out flat to your sides. Crossing your feet at the ankles, lift your feet off the ground to the point where your knees create a 90-degree angle. Press your lower back on the floor as you contract your abdominal muscles. Your hips will slightly rotate and your legs will reach toward the ceiling with each contraction.

You could try pilates, it’s great for abs (you can get a pilates DVD) or you could try bicycling your legs while doing crunches, that works pretty well :)

V snaps… they are great I find. you lie flat on your back then explode with your legs going straight up,while you do this bring your hands to your toes and repeat. Never let your feet touch the ground :) Also Leg ups are good. Where you lie flat on your back and lift your legs up together slowly. It is a pretty good workout dont let you legs touch the ground. oh and also bring your legs just close enought to the ground where they arent touching, like 2 inches or so.. ALSOOO when doing sit-ups put a flat weight on your chest and hold it with your arms. This will result in bigger fatter abs :D Good Lucxk!!!
