What do I do? My friend wants to do heroin?

How can I convince them not to, I’ve tried and they still want to do it, I cant think of anything else to oppose them doing it. Should I tell someone, or just keep convincing them not to, their only 15, please help?

I’ve never been good and talking about my youth but I feel this deserves it…

Im an ex heroin and crack user… I was addicted to the drugs for years…

started off just running it down foil then off to injecting as chasing the dragon was no longer working, I wasnt gettin the high I used to…

spending £20 to £30 a day mixing the drugs there became money problems and the only way to get it was to start selling my things… after my things went I started to steal…

Burgling, shop lifting etc etc till finally after 2 years addicted and the selling of stolen tellys and video players wasnt cuttng it… < (DVD players were not invented yet, I dont think..)

well lets just say eventually I was convicted of 8 armed robberies and I TIC’ed 5 robberies

so spent years and years at her majestys pleasure…

spent weeks on the hospital wing doing my cold turkey and only been given 2 paracetomol every 4 hours the pain was unbelivable

been out now for 9 years and during prison and up till this minute I havent even smoked a spliff… I feel so happy I’ve overcome this hurdle and im healthy and I will not allow myself to become what I most hate…

I hate drugs, drug users and the bastards that sell them

I lost all but a few very close friends due to drugs… my closest friends were always trying to talk me out of taking them and at 1 point it did work… I approached a clinic for a methadone programme and was clean from heroin for a few days…

the methadone didnt give the same buzz so I would sell the methadone to help pay for heroin

even if it means losing their friendship you must tell someone before they kill themselves taking drugs or someone else trying to get the money to buy them!1

I could say a lot here but I dont want to bring myself to tears trying to talk bout it. you HAVE to do everything in your power to stop them because there a high risk that there first try is there last cause itcan kill you the first time trying it as there body might not take it. you can either risk losing your friendship with them or losing them take your choice I recently lost my oldest close cousin to herion. it destroys peoples lifes but also the people around them. you need to do everything, and I mean it cause this is basically a life or death situation. so please take it as seriously as you would if your friends said were all going to a bridge to commit suicide. I have lot people to suicide and drugs and you just lose hope in urself, so please while you still can make the choice to save there life even though they may never relise it was for the best, it is better then spending the rest of your life bllaming urself on how you could have done something, or hothey had a whole lifetime a head of them.

Tell someone. You might lose their friendship, but it’s better to stop them now before they do it. Herion is the MOST dangerous drug out there, only about 2% of people that get addicted to it manages to get rehabilitated. So tell someone. It might destroy their lives.

I suggest you tell someone, if your the only one there’ve told and then they decide to do it earlier then you thought, and something bad happens. it will be on your back, and you dont want that.
