Why were the dogs connected backwards?

ok, this might sound a bit random and weird but its 100 ./. true I swear!!! I have a female dog and a male (they arnt desexed) anyway we were about to leave to go to a friends house when we go to put the dogs outside when suddenly the boy dogs bum was connnected to the girls bum and the boys privite was in the girls so it was all conected but backwards we dont know why or how that happened but help me find a answer!!!

your dogs mated, if she is in heat then she is probably pregnant. when the two dogs “lock” which is what you saw you can pretty much guarantee that she is pregnant if she was in heat. the only reason why they were turned around and their butts were touching is because they turn around and stand like that instead of him having to hang onto her. the reason why it happens is because the male swells up inside her and they create babies. but remember only if she was in heat.

They’ve probably mated. They will stay like that for a while now :) You should take your female dog to the vet to see if she’s pregnant.
