is it okay to wear a lip ring on the first day it was pierced instead of uh stud?

It is okay if they pierce it with a hoop,. They will ask you, or you can ask them., Some places wont, some will. Both of mine personally were done with studs and one swelled up so much that it almost made it worse than it had to be, even with the longer stud. Then after the swelling went down it still wasn’t quite healed enough to change, so I kept biting the stud because it was too long. My best friend had hers done with a hoop 3 weeks ago and its perfectly fine. ^_^. I have done a few myself, they are easy and no more painful than a stud.

Well what did you get it pierced with? You have to leave that ring in there until it heals. Don’t change it any sooner. It will prolong the healing process.

I have done all of my piercings (even snakebites) aside my tongue myself. Tongue was the only one I got professionally done in a shop.

no it’s not okay… if you did so .. believe me you’ll SUFFER from the pain. you have to wait untill it heals =)

a stud goes in your ear, if your talking about a labret (stud looking jewlerey with a ball on the top) then yes, PROVIDED it was the original jewelrey in it. if a ring was used as the piercing jewelry then no, you need to leave whatever it got pierced with in there for about 3 months, thats how long it needs to heal. taking the jewelrey out or changing it any sooner than this will prolong healing time and can cause an infection

keep in whatever they put in. the guidelines they take a couple mins. to tell u after ur pierced isn’t a timefiller..it’s actually important. lol.

I would recommend keepin the original one in. If you just got it periced you wouldn’t want it to get infected on the first day you go it done. I think it would be alight to change it in a month

no, wear the stud! i made that mistake when i got my cartilage pierced and it got infected and it didnt heal as fast as it should’ve :/

yeah its okay i heard that the lip ring is better because its less likely to get infected

no , your supposed to leave what they pierced your lip with because it can get affected.
