I have a a fairly good endurance but I am not at all a fast runner. How can I improve my stride to gain speed? Are there any techniques or exercises that focus on this?
when you are running at the fastest speed you think you can possibly go, try pumping your arms a little faster, your legs should automatically pick up speed so they are going in tune with your arms... and while you're doing this, take as big of strides as possible. Our coaches make us do this in track.
