How can I gain more stamina because I am running the mile in gym next week im fast but get tired in the 1st out of 3 laps please help
I cant tell you how to gain more stamina but if you start jogging and/or running on a regular basis (3-5 times a week) it will help you get in shape and your body will get used to running.
Bonus - I know when I had to run the mile in school we ran on a oval track so our teacher told us to run/sprint on the straight aways and just jog on the curves so we could conserve our energy. That way we wouldnt get tired so fast but we would still have a passing time.

I Know This Might Sound Weird But I Had A Hard Time Running Too. So Then I Started Breathing Slowly Out My Nose Instead Of My Mouth. It Helps a lot By Conrolling Your Breathing & Your Blood Doesnt Need As Much Oxygen When Your Breathing Is Controlled. Which Will Help You Not Get Tired As Fast, Hope This Helps, (:
Eat carbs (spaghetti, potatoes, grains, etc.) the night before. Also, pace yourself. Find your own rhythm. Dont try to follow other peoples. On the last lap speed up gradually, but keep your breathing in check. It helps to breathe in your nose and out your mouth. Hope I helped.
