What is a better type of salt to use for cooking?

I hate salt with anti caking agents or bleaching.

My favorite salt is Celtic Sea Salt as it has great flavor and also trace elements and is a greyish colour. Usually salt that is white all the minerals were taken out to make vitemins

Yet why does Maldon sea salt flake say they are organic and still claim to trace elements of magneseum and calcium?

Answer #1

All I know is that sea salt is healthier (since it is natural), but I don’t know exactly which is better. Maldon Sea Salt might have other trace elements because rocks contain many compounds of elements and the oceans erode the rocks and release not just Sodium Chloride, but other elements like calcium and such. If it indeed says it is organic, then it should be, they would not add them and pass inspections and such. Ohh and Iodized salt is good, too (prevents goitres).

Answer #2

kosher salt
