The earth was formed with water and the physical elements. It became very hot lava that ended up cooling down into one level crust with lots of natural cracks in it. Most of the water that evaporated off the earth into the outer atmosphere stayed in there as ice crystals while the rest of the water vapor rained to the earth and filled the cracks.
When God heated up the ice crystals in the atmosphere many years later, it caused the flood and this changed the crust of the earth. This is when all the mountains and oceans formed to hold all the extra water.
This is going to be reversed soon and the heat pressure in the magma will explode and cause the earth's crust to melt. Then we'll get a new level crust for us to live on but this time with all God's created people and their new immortal bodies.
Its one theory. There is a lot of fossil records that are the same on coast of contents that are 100's of miles away from each other, but if you slid them right next to each other it looks like they would match up both the geology of the land and the fossil records. But sine then the continents have drifted apart due to plate tectonics.
Another theory I heard was that the world was actually smaller at one point and has been stretching, and that is what caused the continents to move apart. But I haven't heard much support for that theory. :P.
Yes, once, there was only one huge continent and only one huge ocean. Then, it started spliting in pieces,Atlantic ocean was formed, and the pieces have been moving apart ever since. They are still moving right now, and one day they will end up joining again in one big continent. [So the atlantic is getting wider and the pacific narrower]
Yes that is true. Actually it was called Pangaea but slowly they broke apart and was called Gondwana and Laurasia. Then over time they broke apart to our seven continents. When they press together they form mountains and scientists believe one day all of the continents will slowly come back together. I hope this helped.
According to Coca Cola commercials, there is a Santa Claus. The Bible is not a history or science book, it contains symbols and stories that are meant to teach 'us' what the creators of Christianity tought was moral. There's nothing there to be taken ad literam.
According to the Bible, there was a flood. Since most of the waters of the deluge became part of the oceans, it is naturally to assume that the surface of the earth was completly diferent before the flood. Does it sound reasonably to you?
That's what teachers who don't know the truth will tell you in school. It's easy to lie but it's almost impossible to receive the truth to know what happened and what will happen in future.
0_0 This is a shock to me! I don't even know what to believe anymore....I feel so lied to. Well, at least I still have the tooth fairy and the easter bunny!
He's a fat f*ck who only works 1 day a year and he's happy about it. It would be TOO unfair if he was real.
I hope you all agree there is a huge diference between Coca Cola commercials and the Bible, isn't it?
Yeah, right...about that, well, there's been some personnel cut down made at the Fantasy Agency...
Yes. That's true.
Google for "Gondwana" and "Laurasia" if you want to know details.
If that is all that you understood from my comment, i won't bother answering.
So.....Are you trying to tell me Santa isn't real?
The only way to know God is to be God yourself.
God knows everything because he created it all.
Yes it was a supercontinent called Pangea.
where are you getting this from?
Naah, i say it was the Anunnaki.
Yes and it was called Pangaea.
Yeah, this sounds very logical
how do YOU "know" this
