Who knows what those long tunnels where they launch missiles are 4?

Heey, Can SOMEONE HELP ME??? Okai, so if you’ve seen THE INCREDIBLES well, you may know what I am talking about. They are a long horizontal and pretty big tunnel, and they launch stuff out of them. They are usualy underground, and in THE INCREDIBLES a rocket comes out of it. What are they for, AND WHAT ARE THEY CALLED??

I believe that was a fake volcano that it was going to be shot out of. The tunnel I believe was to release the fire that the rocket shoots out so it could launch which was a cave at the end where the 2 kids were at.

they are called missile silo’s or missile hanger’s. I dont know about the incredibles but in real life they are used to store ICBM’s in a ready to use and easy to service state. ICBM stands for intercontinental ballistic missile, these are missiles that can be used to deliver a very large nuclear payload anywhere in the world in a very short amount of time. Basically those big tubes mark the beginning of the end of the world.
