IS IT TRUE THAT ITS BETTER TO HAVE A BABY AT A YOUNG AGE THATS WHAT BIOLOGY TEACHER SAID THE YOUNGER YOU ARE THE BETTER TO HAVE A BABY?

Answer #1

Thats so wrong and if thats what she said word for word she should be fired from her job. There are more risk whena woman over 40 hass a child but there are also more risk when a 13 year old has one. The younger the better is completely wrong.

Answer #2

No, that is false, the best age for women in terms of their bodies are in their 20’s.

There are huge risks for teenagers having babies, and the risks also increase for women over 35 years of age.

Then again, looking at it from an emotional perspective, it is better to have children in your late 20’s or early 30’s as mothers are then generally more mature and more likely to know what they want in life.

Answer #3

i thoughtt if your to yound it could rip down there and kill you…….

Answer #4

There are a lot of women who rip (regardless of their age), that is what stitches is for, the risk is more related to the development of the baby and the emotional development of the mother, i.e. babies are usually of lowe birth weight, higher change to be under developed and have mental problems then if a women is older

Answer #5

I think your biology teacher is talking the difference between having a baby in your twenties rather than your 30’s or 40’s….in that case, it is safer. I don’t think he/she is purporting that the “younger the better”….

Answer #6

that is not wrong mandy ..scintific research actually sais that as the woman reaches 30 her pregnancy ability decrease to 70% & in age 40 decrease to 45% so its true if you are younger you can have babies way easier also it depends on how strong is the fertilizing sperms

Answer #7

Mandyloo is actually correct. It is risky for teenagers to have babies.

Answer #8

But teen pregnancies shouldn’t be encouraged >_> I think that might be what mandys trying to say. Like there’s no way a 13 year old who is practically still a child themselves can be ready to have a baby and 13 year olds are still very irresponsible and immature so there is a lot of risk if a 13 year old has a baby.

Answer #9

Oh, and also what ifeelcrazy said lol. Apparently I’m slow D:

Answer #10

not talking bout teens what im talking about starts from age 30 not teen preganacy is another issue

Answer #11

Fertility starts to decline from about age 35, Mandy only used aged 40 as an example, she never claimed that that is the age where fertility starts to decline

Answer #12

Wow, I think it’s really all individual from one woman to another!

I know many women in their 20’s to late 20’s who have had a really bad time getting pregnant…so it’s not really about the age but if she has any complications in the history of her family!

I know my ex & I tried to have a baby the first few years of marriage…and just couldnt. i was like in my late 20’s…so there is already a false fact about the age!!!
I also know many people my age that got married the same time I did that have had a hard time as well conceiving…but my cousin’s on the other hand have had kids with no complications…who were older then me when they tried to conceive… I guess what I am trying to say it’s all genetics, has nothing to really do with age, unless the female has fertility issues or the partner has sperm issues!

Also I dont encourage teenage pregnancies for one reason, what can a teenage girl offer a child other then love…while also resenting them in the future for ruining their lives at an early age?! There really isnt a perfect answer there…If you feel you can handle paying the bills, and can offer a child a humble & happy home, it doesnt matter if you are 20-50…I have heard even women in their 60’s have given birth when they wanted to…so I guess it’s Genetics after all!

Answer #13

noooooooooooooooooooooo

Answer #14

babies born to teenage mother are more likely to have a low birth weight which in turn makes them more likely to have problems such as respiratory disorders and brain injury from haemorrhage. So no, it is not better to have a baby at a young age. It is however better to have a baby in your twenties. Mothers in their 30’s or above are more at risk for chromosomal disorders. The risk is very significant in late thirties and above. Fertility is also decreased from about late twenties onward.
