what are some topics that I could a poem for??
I most times write from what I am feeling- it is a great outlet for anxiety and depression. however- I have learned to incorporate activities I enjoy doing in my poetry- I ahve poems about fishing- about hunting- hiking- my spiritual beliefs, poems about painting- poems about writing poems.
I try to avoid dwelling in the darkness for very long- and allow some "light" to enter into my writing- I keep things balanced because writing the darkness all of the time can end up pulling me farther into the darkness and depression.
Love, God, school, music, dogs, boys, girls, friends, parents. You can write about anything. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and write down the first word that comes to mind. Now you have a subject.
Topics for poems well I just write down my feeling and it comes out to be a poem. so just write down whats on your mind and re-read then pick a topic that what I do.
